The Oriental Bataan Hotel formerly known as Hilltop Hotel is situated at Freeport Area of Bataan Compound, Brgy. Malaya, Mariveles Bataan.

If you are looking for a quiet place where you can just sit back and relax, this is the right hotel for you. Away from the busy city, Oriental Bataan Hotel upholds a cozy ambiance, (as for me) just chill and enjoy the stillness-of-the-place atmosphere. 

One hotel facility I enjoyed was the Cliff lounge where I can call my "tambayan sa hapon" (pero puwede rin naman tumambay sa umaga :) ). When the sun starts to descend, the area becomes dim but not in total darkness as there are little lamps around.

Another one would be the swimming pool, wherein most of the time ay solo namin. *Yey! From the pool area you can just look up and do star gazing at night.

Went there two weeks ago and the hotel is still under construction/improvement but I must say the staffs are very accommodating and friendly. *High-five for that! Left Manila Sunday morning and travel time took 3 1/2 hours bus ride from Genesis cubao terminal.The road is not yet concrete kaya medyo maalikabok. We managed to arrange a shuttle pick up from bus drop off but if in case the service is not yet around, you will have to wait to have a free ride. Since location is hill-top going down the main road is a bit hassle if you don't have private vehicle but they can call a tricycle as you request. Tried their pizza and pasta. All in all, I'll rate the whole stay 4 / 5. *wink
